Bridesmaid

Bridesmaids was hilarious. I was spectacle about this movie thinking it wouldn't be my type of a movie but it really pulled through. The jokes are more for women but delivered that anyone can enjoy them but children. This is definitely not a child's movie. Bridesmaids isn't about the princess getting prince charming. It's about two best friends almost being torn apart because of life changes and getting over the path of destruction that separates them.
Kristen Wigg played the main role Annie, who is the maid of honor or refereed in the movie maid of dishonor because she doesn't want to see her best friend move on from her. Annie's life is a mess and doesn't know how to connect the pieces. She is happy for her best friend getting married but doesn't want things to change either. Kristen really plays this role as if the character was really her and gets in to trouble everywhere she went. She has me laughing throughout the whole movie. She really let herself go through many hilarious situations and gave her all doing it. I am looking forward to more movies involving her. There was two weeks of improvising and it did great for everyone.
I enjoyed this movie a lot and encourage anyone to go see it. A lot of people are comparing this to the Hangover, I do not. This movie is more like Super Bad to me. Just two friends overcoming life situations.

Hangover Part II

The wolf pack is back and this time Stu is getting married. He tries to play it safe and not have another disaster happen before his wedding day but it seems that destiny brought everything into place, where he wakes up with his buddies in Bangkok. This time he didn't loose Doug, he lost his future wife's little brother Teddy. From there they are stuck figuring out the clues on where Teddy is and what happen the previous night. In my opinion, Hangover Part II is exactly like the first movie. If you can put aside the plot being exactly the same and enjoy the situations the characters are put into then you will enjoy the movie all over again. It's kinda of like a reboot. I still had a good time watching it. It made it easier for me to enjoy the jokes because I knew the formula already in the movie on how the characters will progress to the end, just didn't know what obstacles they had in their way. Ed Helms was more involved in this movie because of the wedding and I thought he was hilarious. His character gets into worst problems then the last movie. I also liked how the movie added more graphic content it showed that they aren't afraid what people think. They really went over the top with this movie and the cast definitely gave awesome performances by all of them. I can not digress enough how well this movie was done. If this movie came out first I think it would've been did much better. The only thing that ruined it was the plot being the same. I am sure they could have done something different to it.
The movie had appearances from Paul Giamatti and Mike Tyson, both were very good in the movie. Mel Gibson was suppose to be in the movie as a tattoo artist but then was dropped due to the cast and crew and he was replaced by Liam Neeson but Liam couldn't come due to scheduling issues. The tattoo artist was played by an unknown actor.

Green Lantern Roller Coaster
Green Lantern Roller Coaster at Six Flags, NJ
Me and a buddy of mine went to Six Flags yesterday for the grand opening of Green Lantern. We waited in an enormous line which gave us a chance to check out all the cool visual scenery they had. They had Hal Jordan's jet, Green Lanterns lamp, and various of images with dialogue every 10 minutes in the line. It told a story from start to end explaining the Green Lantern. Which was pretty cool because it ended with the Green Lantern enrollment speech just before you got the ride. It also explains why some of the track was yellow (it represents fear).
After waiting in line for about 90 minutes which wasn't too bad but still sucked because theres no covers on the line so the sun beat down on us the entire time, we finally got on the ride. Let me explain the stand up roller coaster before going in details. The ride is 15 stories high and reaches speeds greater than 60 mph. The ride starts with a 153-foot climb followed by a 45-degree vertical drop. The 2 minutes and a half minute-long coaster features five inversions including a 121-foot tall loop, 103-foot dive loop, a 72-foot incline loop and twisted double corkscrews.
Now when I got on the ride, it became very uncomfortable. I had to adjust my seat to my liking within 30 seconds or less. It was not easy to do. The ride itself bounced my head around which made it harder for me to enjoy the ride. The drops weren't as big as I was hoping it to be. I feel like they did a fast job with it and it shows. They could have made it faster and just more scarier. A cool add on would have been having a intro to the ride like they did with the Dark Knight ride. Green Lantern does not compare to the other rides they have in Six Flags. It is unique on its own. Unfortunately, it was a one time deal for me.

Faster

Faster was an action movie I needed. I have not seen a good one in a while. Dwayne Johnson performance as a killer was fantastic. He just had a hit list and took them down one by one. He didn't bother to have conversations or anything. He just wanted revenge for his brothers death. Billy Bob Thornton plays as a drug user cop who tracks down the killer with Carla Gugino character. They also did great in this movie. Billy showed that not all cops are good but still wants a normal life. Oliver Jackson-Cohen plays as a assassin who is the best at what he does. The guy was pretty cool but wish the writers did more with his part in the movie.
The movie has a nice feel to it. It got you more involved with each characters background story which I thought was really good. It makes any twist in the story more shocking when you know what the person is capably of doing. I am glad I watched this movie and recommend it to anyone. It has a decent twist at the end.

Pirates of the Caribbean "On Stranger Tides"

On Stranger Tides, where do I start? The movie had great acting made by all the cast members. Johnny Depp did awesome as Captain Jack Sparrow once again. The directing wasn't my cup of tea but still delivered. CGI was good too. The only thing that was bad was the plot. From the main characters to get to point A to point C took forever. There was so many scenes that could have been cut down. Characters digressed so much to each other. I felt like they were just wasting time. Also the plot was done in previous movies in the trilogy. Captain Jack Sparrow has been to the fountain of youth before, why not make a movie about that. They should have went in a different direction with it. Maybe revisit it but not make it the main goal of the movie. The jokes in the movie were not quirky enough. I was expecting a lot more from Johnny Depps character to top off the old movies. That was my mistake. Action was also good but nothing seemed that life threatening. One moment the guards had guns chasing Jack Sparrow then they take out their swords to fight him. Why would they do that? They know what he can do so why not just shoot him in the ass and capture him? The villain was confusing. It was obviously black beard but it could've been this guy with the wooden leg. Both guys look very creepy. I would not want to mess with either of them.
The movie was good but its definitely a Disney movie. If your a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean then I hope you enjoy it better then I did. In my opinion, its a wait to its on DVD type of a movie.
On Stranger Tides made number one in the box office this weekend. It was the top gross this year so far.

Muppets are back!
Disney is bringing the Muppets back to the big screen. Growing up I watched this show every day. I am excited for this movie to come out. I know its going to be attended for children but it brings back so many memories. I think its going to do well because a lot of people can recite to it.
The new movie will feature voices from Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Neil Patrick Harris, Jason Segel, Jack Black, Danny Trejo, Katy Perry, Ricky Gervais, and I save the best for last Zach Galifianakis as Hobo Joe.
The new movie is going to be different though. Disney is giving the Muppets legs. These loveable characters will now be able to walk without someones hand up their ass. It will also feature a new character named Walter. They haven't release what he will look like yet. Right now they are focus on the older bunch.

Titantic in 3-D
James Cameron will be re-releasing Titanic in 3-D on April 6, 2012. In honor of the people who was taking away from love ones a 100 years ago. This was a fantastic movie. I know I saw it a couple of times. It has one my favorite love stories that I will never forget but I don't know if I will go out and see it again in 3-D but if they come out with a special edition dvd, I think I would get that.
This is better move then releasing Titanic 2. If there was any time to write 'smh' this is that time.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Pirates of the Caribbean is back with a whole new film opening up this Friday May 20, 2011. Will this end Thor's #1 streak in the box office? I think so. When Pirates of the Caribbean comes to theaters raging horny Johnny Depp fans come to theaters with pockets full of cash. This time Disney has Rob Marshall directing "On Stranger Tides". Will Rob do the job for Disney and delivery a blockbuster hit? The films he directed before was Annie, Chicago, and Nine. I guess Captain Jack Sparrow will have a nice dance number in this movie. So count on a different feel for the movie.
The last three movie budgeted at $865,000,000 and gross revenue at $2,681,440,232. With those odds I would create two more movies. Oh wait, thats what they did. Two more Pirates of the Caribbeans will be releasing in years to come. Check out the trailer and stay tuned for a review this weekend.

Final Destination 5
Thats right folks, Final Destination is back with its 5th installment to the series. Every one knows after the 4th movie the rules change. We should be in for a real treat. Eric Heisserer who wrote the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street is the writer for Final Destitution 5 and Steven Quale who helped out as a Second Unit Director in James Cameron (Avatar, Titanic) movies is directing this one. I think the style of the movie will be better then the last one. I honestly only look forward to this franchise because of the unique way of dying. I am a torture porn fanatic. So how badly the Final Destination plots can be, the killing still has me eating my popcorn going "Holy Shit! that was cool, who knew a nail gun can do that?". The best part about Final Destination is no matter what the characters can not cheat death. So you know your going to see a lot of blood and they seem to get better every movie. So with new talent brought on to the plate, I wouldn't cancel this movie out just yet. The last one was really bad but they have high expectations for this one that they signed for Final Destination 6 and 7 which they are filming back to back. So I am thinking the next film will have a really nice long story. Final Destination 6 will probably end in a nice cliff hanger.

Star Wars Blu-Ray Coming soon
I can not wait to for the new Star Wars Blu-Ray on September 16th. It is going to have 9 disc totally. It will have all the Star War movies on blu-ray disc plus a lot of bonus content. The bonus content will be never before scenes, alternative scenes, interviews, documentaries, archives, star war spoofs, the making of, commentary, and much more. It is a good collection for any Star Wars fan.
My Thoughts about "The Dark Knight Rises"

What I think what will happen is...
Batman will be blamed for all the destruction and deaths from the previous film "The Dark Knight". People will be upset over Harvey Dent's death and go against Batman. Batman will try to win back the city but now he has to worry about someone else in the shadows, Catwoman. Catwoman won't come off as a villain. She will play in his aid but doing it at her own free will. Batman will not have control over what she does and she won't make things easy. He will then face a new villain named Bane. Bane will make things difficult with his strength. Batman will have to find a way to go face to face with this monster. So in my theory, Batman will be stuck finding a way to defeat Bane with Catwoman messing things up for him in the process and having the city giving him a hard time.
This movie will be the last one Christopher Nolan does. It will be ended as a trilogy.
I could be completely wrong. But I would love to hear what you guys think what will happen in the new Batman movie.

Zombie Appreciation Month (ZAM)
May is Zombie Appreciation Month or I would like to call it ZAM. So you know what that means? Go out and hug a zombie. Enjoy your zombie movies and books. Join a Zombie Walk. Act like a zombie, bite people, and tell them they are effected. They won't think they have been effected by a zombie, they will think they were just effected by AIDS. So good luck with that one.

So last night I saw the movie Thor. I am a big Marvel fan and let me tell you this Thor was great. It was exactly how I expected it to be. Chris Hemsworth hits the character right on the tip of a nail. The acting was marvelous. See what I did there. If not let me explain it for fun. This is a Marvel movie and I just called the acting MARVELous. Natalie Portman, I have seen her in a couple of movies lately and her acting just gets me every time. She is marvelous The villain was a different kind of a villain he wasn't 100% evil. He just wanted to make his foster father proud and make him king. He would not stop his rampage until he got his way and who wouldn't espacially after you find out your adopted. The guy wasn't even mad either about being adopted, he still acted like he was one in the family. I thought that was interesting and marvelous.
I am not a Thor fan but this movie makes me want to go pick up some Thor comics and get excited for a sequel. But I did find some problems with the movie and if you guys don't know me by now, I find out problems just for the hell of it. I was not impressed with the way Thor's universe looked. Even though it might looked that way in the comics, I believe it could have been more detailed. The action wasn't enough. Thor is suppose to be bad ass and he's not even in enough action. He's not even a trouble maker. He gets exiled to Earth and he makes friends no problem. I would've had him kick some old mans ass and take candy from a baby. I mean come on your father just banned you from home. Start making a new name for yourself. Become King of Earth and get revenge. Then become good because you feel bad and you want to bang Natalie Portman. That would be my Idol. I would get a Thor's name tattoo in a heart on my chest. But do not get me wrong the movie is good. This is just me ranting on. I am difficult to please.
Also If Marvel Studios really want to impress me, they will invest in Deadpool the movie. They should totally run up to DC take the Green Lantern 2 contract rip it up and sign Ryan Reynold to the movie. Reynolds would do it, he doesn't care he just wants money. Then I will see that movie in IMAX Theaters with a Deadpool shirt on, holding a Deadpool action figure, having my friends hold my Deadpool comic books to make sure movie references a right to the comics, and while writing the best review ever on this blog. If you haven't figure it out yet Deadpool is my favorite Marvel character. A Deadpool movie would make things marvelous.

What does the future have prepared for us?
A lot movies take place in the future but how accurate are they? I do understand they are movies for a reason. How do we not know that its possible? Here are my thoughts about the future.
Time Travel
Are we going to have time traveling cars or other ways to travel through time ? Just in case we do not like this future and get the chance to alter time. Warn our past self to "Don't sign that contract or you will lose everything" or "Invest in facebook you will become a millionaire." Would we be that kind of an asshole to make our self better? I know I would. I will tell my self every month winning lottery numbers or bet on the Green Bay Packers to win the super bowl. Now to think of it, if we had time travel we are all fucked. Time travel is must not have. I don't care if it will help us to save people. I don't.
Movies: Back To The Future, Bill & Ted, Terminator, Hot Tub Time Machine
Robots
How about having full interaction with robots. Robots will be cool to have. I will never be lonely again. Would robot to human marriage be legal in the future? I would say no. Only because people are jerks when it comes to that stuff. It's not the higher up intended. My robot be my best friend. I would never have to do a thing again. I can be even more lazy then I am today. If it was the future right now and I had a robot. I wouldn't be typing this my robot would be. I would call him Slave.
Movies: Robocop, Short Circuit, Forbidden Planet, I, Robot
Cloning
Maybe we will have copies of our selves and use them in the real world where anything can happen. Theres so much you can do with cloning like people, food, and basically anything to do with mass. If I can make clones of my self, I would open up a sweatshop and make computers all day. I will sell them to other countries and make tons of money. I wouldn't have to worry about my clones because I could just make a new one. The downfall on clone making is if he is exactly like me. Then eventually it will become lazy and play Xbox or watch a movie. So if that happens, MLG (Major League Gaming) will not know what is about to hit them.

Space Travel and Aliens
How cool would it be to be able to travel through space? Someone comes up to me and says what are you doing on spring break? I am reply with "I am just taking a flight to Jupiter. Aliens Gone Wild is hosting a week long of out of control partying. It's hosted by Carmen Electra's younger version clone model." It be cool for a vacation but I wouldn't ever move from New Jersey. I am a Jersey Boy. Space travel would be cool though. All the stuff we can find out there. Maybe cures for diseases like the common cold. How about finding new life forms. Just walking down the street and there's your neighbor Crabsonthygo who's an alien from the planet Uranus. Don't worry he's friendly, during the day. But this would be my favorite future. Aliens would probably be the new terrorist. Be so much racism going on it just be pointed to Aliens. There will be new technology so much more advance that we have today. My phone will probably be integrated to my brain and ill be using telekinesis to talk to people. I am sure you will see someone having brain damage from it because they downloaded to much porn on their phone that there brain can't handle any more it. Not enough space.

May the 4th be with you
Who doesn't love star wars? I know I do. So in honor of May the 4th be with you. I would like to talk about my favorite character.

Boba Fett
Boba Fett is the man. He is a bounty hunter who is a clone from Jango Fett, who treats Boba as a son. He is dangerous and mysterious kind of a character. You can not predict what he might do next. He gets hired from Darth Vader to hunt down the millennium falcon. I believe if Darth Vader wasn't around Boba would've been the top villian.
Boba was also featured many times in the show Robot Chicken and has his own song from MC Chris. He was featured in a couple of Marvel comic strips as well.

Inception. Real or Fake?
What is Inception? Inception is the establishment or starting point of something; the beginning.
Did you know that there is a MRI Scanner that takes images of your brain and can determine what you was looking at? If they did that to me, then they will find me disturbing and creepy. All I know is there be a hot nurse putting me under the machine and ill be trying to look up her skirt. That will be the image they will get from my head.
To get into inception someone would need to go into your dream and make you see their way of the dream. So you would not be able to tell whats real and whats fake. Unless they create a world of candy then you was just incepted by a child. Congrats.
To understand if your in inception is to know if your in a dream. If you are able to understand whats going on then your most likely in inception. I know in my dreams whenever the good part is about the happen my alarm goes off. I do not understand why it takes me so long to get to that good part. The good part is when I save the world from extinction by having sex with Jessica Alba. But if I was in inception that dream would only last a minute.
Minutes are like hours in inception. You slow up time. You can accomplish a lot while in inception but then again nothing of it is real. So your time is wasted. Get a job in inception.
The laws oh physics do not imply in dreams. So you are able to do whatever you want. But in inception they do imply. You can die and go into limbo.
Limbo is is an expanse of infinite raw subconscious. It is the deepest anyone can travel into the mind. In there you might meet more people or be alone. If I was there I would just create a new world and wait for someone to join me. Then welcome them those weirdest way I can. First impressions are everything.

Did you know that there is a MRI Scanner that takes images of your brain and can determine what you was looking at? If they did that to me, then they will find me disturbing and creepy. I know in my dreams whenever the good part is about the happen my alarm goes off. I do not understand why it takes me so long to get to that good part. Are you a Zombie?
I am currently doing mindless research on who ever read this might be a zombie. Some of the research was slightly stupid and some of it may be true. This is my research report on how you may be a zombie.
Do you just stare at a wall while at work as time goes by? You may be a zombie.
Are you able to smell new odors that you never smelled before? Good news is you are still able to tell what smells bad and what smells good. Bad news is you might have rotten flesh somewhere on you and you may be a zombie.
Did you just come out of a body bag covered in blood and torn clothes? Well, you was just in a horrible accident and is able to tell to others about it. You are a zombie.
Do you have lack of sleep throughout the nights? Chances are you are a zombie or just have insomnia. Most likely insomnia but this is a blog about being a zombie. So you are a zombie.
If you walk slow and is unable to run or sprint. Then you might not be from the movie 28 Days Later or you just had a mild stroke. Well in that case you shouldn't be reading my blog, you zombie.
Do you suddenly have the craving for brain food? No I am not talking about food that will help you think better. I am talking about actually brains and if this is making you hungry. You are certainly a zombie.
If you have the ability to take a shotgun and shoot yourself in the chest and get back up. Then you are a zombie or wearing a bulletproof vest. And in that case you are a very smart zombie.
Too be honest, if you have bad odors, can't sleep, stair at walls, and have the craving for flesh. Then your most likely a cannibal. Sorry If I led you thinking you might a zombie. I know how cool that would have been but in reality you have issues.

About Deadly Impact

My Review
I have to be honest. The only reason why I picked up this movie was for Sean Patrick Flanery. Who doesn't love "Boondock Saints" right? The beginning of this movie had my full attention. It gave an awesome situation for a main character to face. Then the rest of the movie was losing my attention minute after minute. Don't get me wrong the acting was good, it was just the plot that was weak. I am going to explain this assassin named "The Lion" but beware he's nothing special. The guy was not intimating at all. He looked like a guy anyone can beat up and some how he was always step ahead of everyone else. He used technology and bombs to kill people. What kind of assassin is that? Why not just call him a terrorist because that's what he is doing. He goes around making demands or he blows up something. To me that will be a terrorist not an assassin. This movie stunk and that's hard for me to say because I respect all movies just do a better job on making sense.

Scott Pilgrim VS The World
This movie was hilarious. It is random, has great special effects editing, and has various types of music.
Its about a band who wants to get a record deal. So they sign up for battle of the bands and other shows. The bass player Scott has a girlfriend then he falls in love with a new chick and his ex girlfriend who is also in an another band comes into town. She offers his band to open up for her band. So now he is in a dilemma of breaking up with his girlfriend for the new girl and at the same time his ex is in town.
If you have nothing to do one, this is definitely a movie to rent. Just remember if your going to watch this with a girl the movie will be so awesome that you will forget all about her. She might not like this. I know mine didn't.
