Texas Chainsaw Massacre (reboot)
October 5th 2012, Lionsgate will be releasing a re-rebooted version of Texas Chainsaw Massacre but this time it will be in 3D! I know they are going to do a good job with this flick but its a classic and needs to be left alone. In May Lionsgate bought the writes the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and decided to tweak it up and make it a more of a new generation story. Lionsgate is saying it will be a sequel to Tobe Hooper's story. It will be directed by Bill Moseley.
I am not 100% excited for this but I would still checked it out just because I like leatherface as a character. I really hope they push the limits on how graphic it can be. But in my opinion I think they could have written a brand new horror story rather then wasting their money on a film which was perfected back in 1974.
Let me know your thoughts in the comment box.

Shows I am looking forward to watching
Here is a list of shows I can not wait to see.
The Life and Times of Tim (Season Three)
That's right I said it. The Life and Times of Tim will be returning back on HBO for a third season. It was originally canceled after the second season. We all know HBO can not live without this show. But what is this show about? The Life & Times of Tim is an animated show about a young guy named Tim who just can't seem to catch a break in life. He's a normal guy who always tries to do the right thing, but for some reason the world conspires against him. The show is worth to check out. You can jump in any time and still get the humor. There is no date posted yet when the new season will air. Rumors are it will be announce during the new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Breaking Bad (Season Four)
In season three, Jesse and Walter got themselves in a lot of trouble ending the season in an awesome cliffhanger. What will Walter do to clean up the mess this time? Will him and his wife ever make amends or will she continue to sleep with other guys? All questions soon to be resolved on July 17 when the new season airs on AMC.
Star Wars Live Action Series
I have no clue when this will be release but I am looking out for it. The series will take place between the the third film and the fourth film. George Lucas announced this back in 2005 but has not forgotten about it. It is still in development. George said that he would write the first part of the series then hand it off to the producers. The series promises 100 one-hour long episodes. George stated on May 2011 that 50 episodes are already written. So in that logic 6 more years and we will have the series filming and 6 more years we will eventually have it on TV. By then I will still enjoy it.
Walking Dead (Season Two)
I loved the first season. I was upset that it was seven episodes long but at Philly Wizard World Comic Con, I got a chance to talk one on one with some of the cast members including Chandler Riggs and Norman Reedus. From what they could tell me was the new season will have a total of thirteen episodes with a lot of more blood and gore. They couldn't tell me anything about the plot line. AMC has them all under oath. It was awesome to meet the cast and they are all very nice.
Dexter (Season Six)
Just in case you did not know Dexter is by far my favorite show. Also at Philly Comic Con I got the chance to meet Julie Benz who played Rita on Dexter. I got goose bumps just talking to her. Dexter is the only show I can watch over and over again and still get excited on whats going to happen next. The new season is being taken over by a new show runner. He stats that he will make the new season feel like the first one where Dexter is back on his dark days rather then moping about his life like he was in the last season. Which is good in my perspective, I want Dexter to just be himself. I thought the last season could have been so much better but I understand why they did that. They needed to show Dexter had feelings. But the new season will have a new killer that has the same morals as Dexter, causing him to be Dexter's number one target. The kids are going to be moving back in with Dexter and Quinn is still going to be on Dexter's ass. Deb will try to move on bigger and better things. I am just wondering how it will fall into place with everything. New season won't start till about September. I can not wait any longer. I am about to freeze myself till then.

True Blood Season 4 Episode 1 "Shes Not There" (Spoilers Alert)
If you did not see the first episode this review will contain tons of spoilers, please leave now before reading.
Let me start with, Did True Blood decided to hire the writers from the show Lost? Because I feel like the show got so complex in one episode that now I am not sure if I even want to go forward with the show. Let me calibrate, it starts off with Sookie in a magical land with other people just like her (faires, and no I do not mean gay people). They are eating glowing fruit. If my fruit was glowing I would not eat it for the risk of getting cancer. Cancer is written all over glowing fruit. Sookie was the only one who knew not to eat it because apparently the girl from the country area of America is the brightest one of them all and started to see visions of troll monsters within people. It just so happen to be that she was being captured under a spell by troll monsters! They wanted to eliminate her fairy kind out of jealously. Then Sookie escapes and jumps into a portal bringing her back to earth. This concludes the opening scene of True Blood season 4. It confused the shit out of me. The show is about vampires not a scene that reminded me of Power Rangers.
Sookie comes back home only to find out that she has been missing for a year and everything changed. I feel like the writers did this just to close unsolved gaps in the show. It's an awful trick. Jason's now a cop, Arlene had her baby, and Tara finally moved out to be a UFC lesbian. Why would Tara do that? I don't recall any signs of her wanting to kick girl's asses then sleep with them. Jason becoming a cop, didn't shock me but it would be nice to see how it happen. I don't think the writers made a smart move here. Everyone liked the show because they connected to all the characters and now that connection is gone. I feel like it was a reboot of the show. Bill is also a political person now. Is he running for something? It's not very clear. Then Eric did a statement for his bar stated that the bar is for humans and vampires now. Also then you find out that when Sookie was gone, Eric bought her house and now she is his.
I am a big fan of the show, I liked what they did with the vampire's stories but I did not like this episode one bit. It needs to go back how it was. It didn't need this polished version. I do not know how many people agree with me on this. But I do not think it was creative. I think it was a way out to get out of loop holes they didn't know how to conclude.

Green Lantern
After watching this movie, I found a new comic character I like. The history of the Green Lantern has so much depth in story line that its crazy not to make a movie about all of it. Ryan Reynolds not my choice as Hal Jordan but he still gets the job done. I was hoping to see a Deadpool movie soon but it was pushed back due to DC grabbing him. It was still a smart move on Ryan's part.
The movie was successful in my eyes. The CGI was superb. The crew created their own universe from the Green Lantern comics and my god it looked great. The visuals was so believable. I loved looking at every detail but one thing, Ryan's outfit. I felt like his outfit could have been worked on more, which is shocking because hes the star of the movie. When he puts on the mask it looks fake. He kind of looks like a raccoon to me. It's adorable. I am even sure most of the CGI went to his package for the ladies. The villain was the emotional feeling of FEAR that is the Green Lantern's darkest enemy because they use WILL power. I think the concept is dumb when you read about it but once you see it with your own eyes, its actually pretty cool. Green Lantern brings out the child inside of me when a Green Lantern creates anything they want out of energy. Reminds me of the Mask (Jim Carrey's Verison) where he takes stuff out of no where and uses it for his pleasure.
The plot was too fast pace. I felt like if you didn't know the back story of the Green Lantern you would be a tiny bit lost. They added some alternate scenes that are different then the comic book, which was okay in my opinion. I am just wondering how they are going to introduce a few characters now if they add them to the next movie. Ryan played Hal Jordan okay, I am not a big fan of Green Lantern yet but I know enough to see that the character could have been played a little more fun. Ryan played him like he was emotional and he hates life. There is a scene where he almost dies from a plane crash because he couldn't stop thinking about his fathers death. Then there is a girl who likes Hal and all he does is pushes her away because he can't make up his mind on what he wants. Bottom line if the ring never came to Earth, Hal would've been a loser. Everyone will hate him and disown him for being a selfish jerk. The Green Lantern ring showed him power and now he thinks hes better then everyone else. So he takes the girl and gets over his emotional problems. It's quite touching if you ask me. The ending fight could have been a little bit longer and more of a struggle for Hal but he got the job done. If the ring chose me, I'll be a villain taking over the world. Ill be full of RAGE!
The movie was good. I don't want to add spoilers to the movie. It's classy enough to just go see it for yourself. DC did a good job and they need to stop doing reboots and start introducing new comic characters like this one.

Philadelphia Comic Con (Wizard World) Review
I was given press credentials for the Wizard World Philly Comic Con and let me tell you this, It was awesome. I had a blast with my company Nerd Rage Films. We covered the whole event. We met so many nice people from staff to vendors. There was so much participation going on with fans dressing up as their favorite character to Jedi light saber fights. I was given opportunities to interview Chris Raab, Sean Patrick Flannery, Brian O'Halloran, and more. Everyone was a lot of fun. Wizard World did a nice job and I didn't see anyone unhappy during the weekend.
Friday: I came to the convention early just to see how big the line was and to see how the place was set up. It was hard to tell if the place was just packed in or there was just that many adoring fans either way I was okay with it. I noticed there was a photo op section where you can meet your favorite celebrity and have an photo with them for a fee. I thought it was cool so I bought two photos for Saturday. One with Julie Benz and one with Boondock Saints. 12 pm came and the convention opened up. I walked around for a little to check out the Fan Groups. I met with a group who runs a reality version of the game ShadowRun using BB guns where they face of in teams in a battle to the death, which was pretty cool. They use props for weapons and smoke land mines as well. We are in the works on making a film with them, so stay tuned for that. I also checked out a few artist and I must say these guys are talented. I've been to comic cons and I have seen these guys before and every year their work just gets better and better. The artist are nicest guys in the world. You can ask if they can draw something up for you and they will do it before the day ends. Later on in the day I did an interview with Chris Raab (Jackass/Cky/Viva La Bam) to talk about his new movie Hot Dog Casserole. He seemed very excited to the interview which made it awesome and easier for myself. He's an awesome guy.
Saturday: I came in early to film an interview with Brian O'Halloran (Clerks/Vulgar/Mallrats). Hes a down to earth guy. He was very cool to talk to. I like his movies and we talked a little more after the interview. Right after that I did an interview with Sean Patrick Flannery (Boondock Saints/Saw 7/Deadly Impact/Powder). He was a little difficult to interview but he opened up and he was great. Later on in the day did my photo op with Julie Benz. She is really nice in person and has a good heart. She will sit there talk to the children all day is she could. She makes sure everyone has a good time. Right after the photo op, I attended what was suppose to be the Boondock Saints Q&A ended up to be a Sean Patrick Flannery Q&A because Normus Reedus was running late from doing a scene for the hit show The Walking Dead. Sean was hilarious. He had so many stories to tell and I did not want it to end. I could listen to that guy all day. I just wish he was like that during the interview I guess I just caught him at a bad time. It was early. But right after the Q&A Normus showed up and I got a photo op with the both of them. Then I went back and filmed the Julie benz Q&A. I went to go check out Jake Lloyd (Star Wars: Episode 1) and Chandler Riggs (The Walking Dead) and they are both fun to talk to as well.
Sunday: This was my easy day. I did a little of shopping. I was able to get some art work done, comic books, and autographs. I did filmed a few more interviews with Fan Groups like Philadelphia Ghost Busters and filmed The Walking Dead Q&A with behind the scenes footage. Other then that I went around talking to people getting to know a lot of people. The convention was a lot of fun.

Fast Five
Vid Diesel and Paul Walker are back and their driving skills is at the top of their game in this new movie. They are prepared to do the greatest job they have ever done before, that can make them millionaires and this time they are bringing old friends to help out like Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Gal Gadot, and Sung Kang. Also the person who plays as the cop chasing them down is no other then Dwayne Johnson aka "The Rock".
I thought this was the best Fast and Furious movie yet. Fast Five focused more on the plot, action, character development, and special effects more then the car scenes. I loved it. This is exactly what they needed. Fast Five has a great cast who got the movie to be a blockbuster hit. Watching this movie I got my chance to see Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson duke it out over who is the tougher guy, a scene where Diesel and Walker jump out of a car as they driver it off a cliff, and the most exciting car scene I have ever witness in a movie. The car scene involved Walker and Diesel to hook their cars up to a high security safe in a police station and pull it out into the town. They drive that safe all around town trying to avoid the police, causing tons of property damage and I am pretty sure they killed tons of people in the long run. The scenes in Fast Five were more entertaining then the story line itself. The story line was very simple and didn't move me but it's what I expected. Also, from what I hear the production company is making a 6th movie but does not say it's the last one or not. Fast Five is definitely a movie to check out when it comes on DVD. Rent it from Netflix or Blockbuster (if yours didn't go out of business yet) and enjoy with a nice warm butter popcorn and a soda.
Fast Five does not get 5 stars but does get
4 out of 5 Stars
This is exactly the right direction they are going. I wish they did this sooner and say forget the car racing. Just need to work on the plot.

Green Lantern: Emerald Knights
A week before Green Lantern comes out to the big screen, DC releases a animated DVD featuring the back story of the characters from Green Lantern Corps. I am not a comic fan of Green Lantern but I still found this interesting in the long run. In the animated DVD we follow a new recruit named Arisia, who is trying to earn her stripes. She follows Hal Jordan to learn the history of the other Green Lanterns. We see flash backs from Sinestro, Laira, Abin Sur, Kilowog, and others like Atrocitus. During the flashbacks, there is fear rising on the sun ready to attack the Green Lantern Corps. After hearing the stories now she has to face the attack with all her new comrades.
The director was Chris Berkeley who directed other animated series like Extreme Ghostbusters, Teen Titans, and Transformers. Writer was Alan Burnett who also wrote Green Lantern: First Flight and many Batman and Superman animated movies. Green Lantern: Emerald Knights has voice actors from Nathan Fillion who stars in Castle and Dr. Horribles Sing-Along Blog, Jason Isaacs, Elisabeth Moss, legend Roddy Piper, Henry Rollins, and Bruce Thomas.
If you are interested in the new Green Lantern movie this animated DVD is great to pick up to learn the history of the feature characters. I bet this DVD will make the new live action more enjoyable for all the new comers.

Limitless
Bradley Cooper performance was over the top in Limitless. If theres any favorite Bradley Cooper movie, it would be this one. Limitless is about a low life loser named Eddie who can't complete anything he starts. He loses everything he once had until he runs into his ex girlfriends brother. He gives Eddie a pill explaining it will make his life a lot easier. Eddie takes it home and tries it out. Next thing Eddie is seeing everything clearly and was able to focus on his life. He was able to finish a book within four days to working on Wall Street. All he didn't know was once you take the pill you need to stay on it or you will die. So now Eddie is on limited supply and needs to find a way out.
The way the movie is filmed and edited was awesome. They used many different transitions and camera lenes to give you the illusion of what the character is seeing. I enjoyed this very much because it gave the POV shot more watchable. Also the pill, I wish it was real. It makes a person focus. That would be so useful for A.D.D. I think the world will be so much better with that pill. Then if you want to kill someone just lock them in the room with no supply. Honestly, the whole concept of Limitless is one of my favorites. Being able to control your body with just one pill and produce so much knowledge is great. I am sure if we had that pill before watching Inception, it would make the movie make more sense to us. We will come out of the movies and build that same machine and do Inception on everyone.

X-men: First Class
X-men: First Class hit theaters last weekend. I have to admit, I had no intentions on seeing this installment to the X-men series. Its a prequel and I already knew what to expect. I am a comic book nerd. What still surprised me was how well each character was done. Marvel finally got their own comic book heroes exactly how they should be on the big screen but with a few exceptions. Professor X is played by James McAvoy (who also stared in the movie Wanted) was awesome. McAvoy and Michael Fassbender (Magneto) was my favorite actors throughout the film. Who ever did the casting role did a good job on this movie. Jennifer Lawrence (Raven) could've been better maybe if they through in a nude scene I would have enjoyed her more (you know maybe show some butt cheeks), other then that I found her useless. In the credits of the movie there were ton of crew members that worked on her appearance, ridiculous. I still give them credit on a nice job they did though. Then there was Beast. He looked terrible in this movie and was definitely not played correctly.
The movie had a few appearances that people might not have recognize in the scene where Professor X is searching all over the world for other mutants like him. They had children in the scene who were Cyclops, the blob, and etc. I thought it was pretty cool to have.
The CGI/Visual Graphics was superb. I felt it was real as possible in reality. It was hard to tell what scene was CGI. I hope to see more work on from that crew soon. I believe it beat Avatar but thats just my opinion.
I've heard a lot of reviews before coming in on seeing this movie and people compared it to The Dark Knight and I must say, X-men First Class does not compare to The Dark Knight. I prefer The Dark Knight much more then this movie. I am more of a Marvel guy but you can't compete with Batman. Also, I did not catch Stan Lee in this film. If anyone knows when he appeared in this one. Can you let me know?

Porn Rental Featuring Micheal C Hall (College Humor)
A buddy of mine found this video and told me to check it out. I don't know if it's because the short clip is hilarious or because of my man crush on Micheal C Hall either way this clip is great. A lot of great one liners and some many memories I can relate to, like renting movies from blockbuster. Those were the days when I actually had to go to the store for movies. Now I get them streamed everywhere including porn. I can't wait to get home and have me some Little Hersheys.
